I could refund AA and rebook AA for the 29th but it's $100 more per person ($1861). Remember I have to pay that as Q isn't open. I feel like that's something between AA/TN to work out but they won't. I'm already absorbing additional hotel nights.
I could refund AA and buy UA IAD-SFO-PPT round trip for $1605 and get free seat assignments in advance for the 19th-29th. It's already been a hassle trying to gets seats on TN with flights booked as AA.
I also realize this is early but I also fear if I wait to address this until May and we don't want to stay until the 30th that both UA and AA/TN will be far more expensive.
How did this end up working out for you?
