Ah, such unpleasant memories that brings back. I recall one time having a flight switch from a C gate to G. I was in the UC, and they paged me, saying, "Your flight is boarding now, and it's in another terminal; you need to leave NOW!" I looked at my BP and said, "No, it's not supposed to board for another 40 minutes," but sure enough, I schlepped over to G, and the GA said they were trying to get out early and had everyone checked in, etc. At least the UC agent was good enough to pass all of this along; I probably would have otherwise walked over to my C gate at the scheduled boarding time and said, "Where the heck is my flight?!"
