You have one year from the date of issue to use the voucher. It can be used by/for anyone.

When you apply the voucher to a booking, that booking takes on the expiration date of the voucher. If you cancel, you'll receive TTFs usable only by the passenger(s) named on that booking.

(If you use multiple vouchers and/or TTFs, the booking takes on the earliest expiration date of anything applied.)
