Well, the happy ending wasn't so happy after all. Whereas on the phone call referred to above they confirmed to me that the ticket will stay, I received an e-mail today with a travel voucher for that booking, now cancelled. This was even after I updated my ticket indicating that I don't want the trip cancelled. Oh well. Now going crazy trying to reschedule the trip, hotels, and all appointments. Of course, fare on QR has gone up -- more than double.
