It depends on how you look at it I guess. I already subscribe to Audible and Sirius, I also paid about $80 per year for Sirius + $150 for 12 Audible credits so $230 per year out of pocket.
Now if I decide to pay for Audible and Sirius monthly, my cost $11 per month Sirius and $15 per month Audible - $20 per month Amex credit = $6 per month or $72 out of pocket.
So to me the new credit is worth $160 in savings of money I already spend.
