Bumping this from years ago - I have two reservations booked at an airport location for an upcoming trip (one a minivan and one full-size), with the original intent of canceling one depending on what I find on the Executive Aisle. Now, a friend wants to join on the trip but will need their own car - however, rates have tripled since I made my reservation.

Can I keep both reservations under my name and have him use one by making him an authorized drive? Do they still allow me to check out two cars at the same time, at the same location? I'm happy to check out one, drive around, and then come check out to grab the other one.
