I guess for me, the only thing you are "entitled" to if you are Club Europe is to get your carryon stored, especially if you board close to the end. I always try to board as soon as I can for this exact reason. If I showed up and there was no space in CE, I would ask the FAs for assistance, maybe even putting it in a closet etc. It is my experience that people with attitudes like the DYKWIA mentioned simply are not frequent flyers. If they were, they would know that if you get on the flight late, you get what you get, regardless of class of service.
