One night stay. "Authentic" may describe the building exterior and the lobby, but not the rooms. They cheaped out on renovations. Flooring is an LVP product that screams "we want you to think 1930s...but we're certainly not going to spend the money to be authentic 1930s." Same with the Home Depot subway tile on the floor in the bathrooms.

Not that there's much of a view out the windows, but the windows are filthy. They do have window washing service in Ohio, yes?

Restaurant is closed for dinner. There was a reasonable sushi place a few blocks away.

TVs use an InnSpire system that should be renamed InSilly. Just to get an actual TV channel up on the system seems to require an online class. The remote is completely unintuitive.

Pillows were pretty plump, but also pretty lumpy.

I had to go through two rooms to get to my eventual stay, as the first room had a major hum/vibration from an across-the-hall mechanical room, and the second room had a jet-engine vent as you entered. No real apology from the staff; instead, they threw out that old canard "It's a historic building..." By that logic, you could sell mud huts from the year 500 AD for $1,000 a night, after all, they're "historic."

With a Renaissance only a couple of blocks away ($28 a day parking there vs. $35 a day at this place), and plenty of other options nearby, there's no compelling reason for me to return.
