There are in-fact two Transit Holding Areas in the pier around Gates A21 to A17, segragated by chairs. The first THA has the Gate Lounge for A21 as its Premium THA. Here you order food, drinks (basic: tea, coffee, snacks) from a QR code on the table. The Premium THA in the second THA is just a ring of chairs around Gate A17 (from memory). Here you are asked on entry as to your drink preference and handed it prior to entering.

For toilet facilities, you exit either Premium area and use the facilities in the main THA.

Note: You will be called to board at least an hour prior to scheduled departure - it was 90mins for my return SIN-BNE and the need to use the toilets - back in the THA - grew as the time, and a storm induced delay, lapsed!

Many thanks BD.

Sounds bearable for a 3.5h layover - which by the time we get to THA and with boarding time you indicate could easily be 2hours in the “pen” 😀.

We land at 05 30 and leave at 09 00 so wasn’t planning to be ordering Champagne anyhow!

Would have been nice to grab a shower as we would ordinarily do but frankly will put up with lack of that if I can get back to see my 92 year old Dad in the UK for the first time in 18 months …
