Here are the backward seats benefits for me:
1. The feel more private and protected as my head and arms are inside, not in the aisle. I can even change clothes more privately (I used to use the lav for that for the first couple of times, when I was young and inexperienced, lol, now I just strip down in my seat, lol.
2. Backward facing seats at the corners of the cabin mean the least possible exposure to corona during the flight.
3. Safer in case of a crash, and no need for three point seatbelt at take off and landing.
I've done the quick change to shorts and switch shirts no problem in the 789 and 772 B/E. It works

Fair point on Covid but 10L I feel pretty same there if its the Zodiac set up..
And that seat belt shoulder is annoying I agree but you can ditch it as soon as FA's go sit down for take off/landing.
The bad view of window alone though i mean as stated above legit needed a massage of the neck & upper back upon landing from an 8 hour flight.
