To clarify, I don’t like any of the Concept D seats, however, if I’m stuck on an aircraft configured with them, I prefer the rear-facing window seats to the others. These have greater seat area due to the extra console plus the view out the window is better than the forward facing seats that are closer to the aisle. I also find the rear facing seats more private personally.
I found the view out the window to be horrible. If I'm facing straight like say on DL One then sure dont mind being slammed to the window but i had to turn my neck. Booked a massage at the hotel after arriving on my only 788 flight. Neck was killing me. Hated the set up for looking out the window. Staring at ppl in the middle was just as bothersome though. Extra console jammed my arms and I felt confined..
I have a 772 flight to Tel Aviv coming up and have been debating on seats but given my not liking the rear facing the only option to not rock is 10L. While I personally never choose the last row, its just not my thing to be near Coach or have 200 eople boarding past me, it does seem like it might be a nice quiet seat once seated. PE hopefully wont be too noisy. Its either 10L or just book 3L and pray for B/E seats.
