I, too, just received notice about an unused Delta CG from late 2016. But the same thing happened with me where the GC number and amount they list doesn't match up to the one outstanding Delta GC I have from 2016 of the same amount. Seems odd they wouldn't have the correct number. 2016 happened to be the year of a big birthday for me, so it wouldn't be crazy if I received a second GC of the same amount (with a different number) but in searching through my email I have no record of the GC number they mention. I'm doubting the "Abandoned Property" email address that they list for questions will ever respond - but I'm wondering if they'd be able to give me the affiliated PIN or at least be able to see if the balance is legit still there. I live in NY and the only options I have are "I am the owner or purchased the Gift Card as a gift. Please continue to maintain the balance." or "I am the owner or purchased the Gift Card as a gift. The full balance of the card has been used. Please correct your records." Ugh. I'll report back if I have any luck.
