There's not much around Mission Bay since it's on an island. We enjoyed Sportsmen's Seafoods for lunch/dinner next door.
I like the location quite a bit. The bay trails are great for walking and it's a very short drive to Mission Beach and Ocean Beach (with Mission Beach a pretty easy walk). La Jolla's not far, either. It's Southern California, so a car is recommended.
