I went on various websites mentioned on here and got so confused that I gave up for now.

I am fully vaccinated and plan to get PCR tested within 72 hours of my SFO departure time (or antigen tested within 48 hours), as that seems to be the norm for most airlines and countries. But then I read in various places about 48 vs 72 hours within flight ARRIVAL time (not departure time of first flight), and on top of that, requirements at transit at CDG as well as arrival at BLQ. Also, for CDG-BLQ, the US CDC little white vaccination card was not mentioned as an accepted proof of vaccination.

Does anyone know what is really the requirements, at the moment, for SFO-CDG-BLQ for fully vaccinated Americans? (Only transiting at CDG.)
As per today's rules, you just need your CDC card. No need for a test. You need to fill the Italian PLF and show the corresponding QR code at check-in. But in october, rules can be different of course.
