Well, I just got a rental and used my platinum card again. Was going to use my green card in hopes that Amex actually charges me for the premium coverage, but I decided to use the platinum to see if again their system is still screwed up and ends up not ever charging the insurance payment. I'll come back within a week to report the outcome. Also, since "mia" posted I could possibly even use the secondary coverage (as my primary coverage), since I don't actually have motor vehicle insurance.
