2020 Year of Status: During July 2020, when we extended the Elite Status that members earned in 2019 until February 2022, Members also received their 2020 year of Elite status.
2021 Year of Status: During January 2022, their 2021 year of Elite status will be applied to their account. If member achieves a higher Elite level during 2021, their 2021 year for the new, higher level will be added to their Account at the time of achievement.

I'm still missing a status year from the merger. I asked dozens of times to be credited. It never happened. The sour taste has had me moving business away from Marriott as the prospect of being lifetime Platinum seems unobtainable if entire years are disregarded.
