They are comparable to Residence Inns.
Absolutely not. After having stayed many nights in both HH and RI I have come to prefer the room of a Residence Inn for actually extended stays. My friend commented a HH is just a nice place with some possibility for occasional light cooking. A Residence Inn is actually some place you can cook daily.
Beware if you are staying in a HH and don't get a one-bedroom suite. As someone else noted the den has no kitchen at all. And the studio doesn't have a full-sized fridge, just a mini-fridge, which is hard to store any food in quantity.
The kitchen area is also tiny in a HH, compared to a RI. The sink is too small to actually wash anything in (a pot doesn't even fit in).
RI studios have kitchens with full-sized sinks and full-sized fridges. Some even have ovens.
Anyway, with regards to this property: the side on C street has street noise, the other side faces the seagulls and you will hear them cawing through the night. Depends which type of noise you can handle better.
