Congratulations first of all. Some of the old A320's (and A321) used to have one, though I'm not sure about the Neo.

In any case it would not check it unless you have a very sturdy box to fit it in. Personally I think I would try to take it into the cabin, and either use the wardrobe if available, or, hang it on the coat hook on the middle seat (assuming you are not traveling solo).
