I'm curious if those who are traveling again with dual sim phones are using the IMS protocol for free To/From USA voice calling? I haven't been able to escape the country since the Covid thing began but I do have 4 trips planned, now that travel seems to be loosening up. I have used IMS in the past with basically perfect results, but don't know if anything might have changed in the way travel data services might be treating it.
To refresh those interested, your voice line uses your data service line as a simulated WiFi connection for calls to and from the US. This requires your voice carrier to have free WiFi calling of course, but I know T-Moible does and believe other carriers in the States do also.
