Those numbers are what AC is making available for sale on a specific route/flight, not necessarily correlated to load.
Inventory is managed on an O&D basis, so what is available for sale on 2 connecting flights could be different than looking at those flights independently.
I figured that would be the case for an independent flight vs one with connections, but I just found it odd that it's showing different numbers for the same O&D where the only difference in the routing is the layover length.
