Just had a 3 night stay here.
It's a typical Hyatt Place. Expect nothing more or less from that. Except for what appeared to be a very trendy restaurant next door (thought it was part of the Hyatt place first), which I'm not used to associating with Hyatt places...
The location was perfect for my wife and I - two 30 somethings from NYC who enjoy nightlife and restaurants. We loved being able to walk to so many breweries, the peaks island ferry and all of the restaurants. I'd stay here strictly for the location.
One note - I used 3 free night awards... and each reservation came up as one night reservations on the app. At check in, I was told they have an old computer system, so even though my room was the same, I had to check out and check in every morning. A minor inconvenience, as it only took 2 minutes, but still an annoying thing (would have been more annoying if there were long lines). Originally, the stays posted as one night stays, but eventually they showed up as a 3 night consecutive stay on my Hyatt app post trip.
They also had a grab and go breakfast that seemed to basically be a pre-covid Hyatt place breakfast... oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, granola bars, fruit, coffee and tea. We ended up going to Becky's diner and other places for breakfast, but it was busy every morning and the families gathered there looked like they were having fun
