RJ-friendly weekender/non-rolling bags... suggestions?

Thinking of doing some more weekend getaways, and a lot of routes out of CLT are serviced by RJ's. My usual travel bag is a TravelPro Maxlite International Carry-On Spinner and it's just a smidge too big at times, and/or GA's sometimes insist on gate/valet checking anything with wheels. So, I'm looking for some other options with just enough space for Friday night to Sunday night trip. A couple changes of clothes and a camera.

For reference, my TravelPro lists at 39L and I think that's easily the upper bound on volume.

Searching around on here and elsewhere I've seen a few things mentioned. I've come up up with the list below:
  • Peak Design Travel Duffel (35L)
  • Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC (26L)
  • Tom Bihn Western Flyer (26L)
  • Tom Bihn Aeronaut (30L)
  • Tom Bihn TriStar (33L)
  • Goruck GR1 (26L)
Any firsthand experience with these specifically for regional jet use? Anything I'm missing? Anything to definitely avoid? Thanks!
