I usually pay all or part of our monthly health insurance bill with VGC/MCGC; no problems paying with 3-5 “installments”. My water bill can also be paid in multiple installments. I use it to liquidate gift cards that have smallish amounts left. Our home and automobile insurance also accepts partial payments, but it isn’t clear to me that they wouldn’t charge an installment fee (which then would take away all gain), so I haven’t bothered with it.
