Absolute crap. This is AS trying to pass off a stingy decision to DL. Do you think Delta pays additional for MVP qualifying miles? Do you think Delta cares in the slightest how AS awards their elite status?

Now, if DL wants to say that AS rock bottom fares don't qualify for Medallion status, that is a completely different issue, and one for Delta to decide. But for AS to say that DL L/U/T (LUser) fares only count half for MVP status (and then blame it on DL) is a ridiculous copout, IMO.
