are you on AA 199? In any event, best place to stay when flying out of MXP is the Sheraton at Terminal 1. It's a short covered walk right into the terminal. Given AA recommend 2 hours for check-in, the Sheraton really reduces the morning scramble.
Have a 9am flight on LH to MUC, but we will probably do the last night at the airport Sheraton to avoid trying to get out of an unfamiliar city to the airport first thing in the morning. Just trying to figure out if it's the last night or last two nights so we can store the bags in the room and do the day trip to Florence or Geneva from the airport train station.
