At Lake Louise recently, we received chocolates, mixed nuts and a bottle of wine. What I thought was an additional nice touch, is we had friends joining us for the final 7 nights of the stay, and the hotel put a second amenity on the table in the second bedroom of our suite, for the day our friends were arriving. It was also a bottle of wine, chocolates and nuts.

At Jasper, I somehow ended up with birthday cake when we walked in the cabin. This really surprised me, because the booking was under my wife's ALL account, not mine, so I have no idea how they even knew it was my birthday. There is no family 'linking' of member accounts that I'm aware of.
