You'd be surprised what some people think about things like this. I once saw a middle-aged adult claim that since they don't drink alcohol and just had gastric sleeve surgery for weight loss, they only eat a tiny bit and thus should be charged the child's fare on a cruise, and that the cruise line's refusal to honor this request was an ADA violation because they wouldn't make what he thought was a "reasonable accommodation."
