I stayed here in June. In a Caroline Astor suite -- very little furnishings and the storage options were suboptimal. I know that's a small complaint, but that's part of the joy of this brand -- having everything be thoughtless. That's not the case here, sadly.. The arch and design are really not on a STR level. Spa and gym disappointing. Beach is nice but they need more staff to cater to guests. 1 mi walk to town. If they were smart, they'd use golf carts to shuttle people.

My web sleuthing shows this is also the case for the brand new Ritz Carlton Turks and Caicos -- looks pretty stale, for a lack of better words. I think these luxury brands are trying to pump out new resorts ASAP and the quality/design choice is sacrificing.

I'd be more willing to try out the St Regis Punta Mita (which shows obvious signs of age) over returning to the St Regis Bermuda.... I think that says a lot.
