$20 is a small price to pay to save yourself a potential $1000, *if* it works under these conditions. So - that is my question. Does the "premium" product work when CDW is not declined?

As an aside, anyone knows when Amex changed the language in their policies for the standard protection to require CDW to be declined? Just curious how long I've been "risking it"
there is a link couple of posts up to AMEX. Page includes a sample policy and no mention of requiring any decline of damage waiver.
