I was getting the same message as the OP. The App works, though a bit finicky, will not access my aeroplan award using ticket number even though you have a choice of pnr or eticket #. You have to enter TK pnr plus surname, then the eticket number on the next screen to access the reservation, and only get to see one pax, need to repeat steps for each pax on res, same pnr but different eticket #.
My experience yesterday (for a UA award) was different:
1) Enter ticket number + surname to initially identify the booking.
2) Before getting to the page where you actually manage the booking, there’s an intermediate page where you can identify—by ticket number and surname—other pax on the same booking whose details you want to access/manage. Unfortunately, this step must be repeated
every time you access the booking, which is amazingly cumbersome.
At no time was it necessary to enter the PNR.
