Hey everyone,
I'm traveling back home MLE-IST-IAD in September in J and arrive at IST at 5:25am with a 9hr 35min layover. Can a transit hotel be utilized this early in the morning? I'm asking because most US hotels will not allow check-in until the afternoon. We'd like to use the hotel as a base to explore the city for the day before we depart back to IAD. Apologies if this has been addressed prior. Thanks!
Hotel desk is open 24/7, so passengers will get their room at anytime. TK has a different deal with hotels, standard check-in check-out times does not apply. Renaissance Polat is not at good location to explore the city, I would ask other hotel closer but that does not mean you will get one. Transit time to Renaissance Polat is roughly one hour at the early morning hour and pick up is around three hours before the flight, exact time would be announced at the hotel reception desk during the check-in. Better go to the lounge, rest a little then take a Havast bus to city and back.
