American flights have been arriving/departing at C lately instead of at E. Must have drawn the short straw. C is typically the Hawaiian Airlines gates, all the way on the right vs. E which is the center concourse. I believe they split up the safe travels arrivals as many American and Delta flights arrive simultaneously, which creates large crowds.
