Not really related, just throwing a data point out. We connected in GRU with a 2hr layover on Saturday that was shortened by a 20 min late arrival. I passed through immigration in less than 10 minutes. My wife had a checkin so we had to wait 10-15 mins to pick her bag up from the carousel. Then the baggage re-check had a huge line which moved at a snails pace. After wasting 20 min in that line we just went to terminal 2 and used normal azul check in counters which had no line and I often find to be the case. Still we just made the cutoff time as they had to alert the people to wait for one more bag. Just be aware rechecking bags at GRU can suck and if possible avoid it.
