I'm curious if the noise from the construction will be heard in guest rooms during the day or only in the public facilities...part of the allure of this hotel is that the rooms are so incredible, you could enjoy your time here without leaving it. It sounds like Don Manuel's, which is the restaurant behind the adult pool, will be undergoing a big renovation, and my fear is that when the adult pool opens, you'll hear noise while sitting by the pool.

With that said, when we were there in February, we actually preferred the "family pool" as it was much quieter and more relaxing. The adult pool was somewhat raucous and a had a more classic "let's get f* up" Mexico vibe (this has happened on the 3 occasions we've been at the resort in the last 2 years).

While it's a spread out resort in some regard, most of the "action" revolves around the lobby, Don Manuel's and the adult pool - with those things undergoing renovation, it could significantly hamper your experience at the resort.

We were planning to stay here the week of Labor Day, but we may reconsider if the noise is very noticeable.
