What are my options if the Schedule changed AFTER my Regional Upgrade cleared.

I had booked a SEA-ATL flight that had an upgrade availability at the time of booking. I used my regional upgrade certificate to upgrade a Y class fare into OY. Ticket issued into F class with the original flight departing at 1730 hrs. My travel date is still 3 months from now.
A few weeks after booking, I was notified via email that my departing flight had been rescheduled to an earlier flight now departing at 1349 hrs. This is nearly 4 hours early and will require me to cancel a Lunch meeting I have already scheduled. They did still have me confirmed in the OY fare category and seated in F cabin on this earlier flight.
I called the Delta HelpDesk in Singapore to see if I could take a later flight on the same day departing SEA at 2100. They said that since there were no regional upgrades currently available for the later flight, they could only confirm me in Y class and wait list me for OY for F.
My question is that if the schedule change occurred AFTER I had already been ticketed into OY and confirmed in F, is it reasonable to request and expect that Delta should honor the upgrade on a later flight? The schedule change is quite significant and rather disruptive. As a confirmed OY on a flight can I request a same day confirmed on a later flight in F, the same way I would if I was holding a paid F ticket?
I appreciate your feedback and guidance.I am a Delta PM
