The lobby appointments may be a matter of taste, but I prefer the Conrad lobby and bar/lounge area.

I don't know what things will be like at peak times in the pool, but the 21+ infinity pool has a nice view and I think is preferable to the cabana pool, presuming you can get a seat at infinity. The pool area was never more than 25% full when I was there.

The base rooms at Conrad and Crockfords are both 550 sq ft. I'm sure the service is better at Crockfords, or at least intended to be, but if everything goes smoothly then you shouldn't have to deal with much service at all. I posted a review in the Conrad thread of my service experience there.

The casino still takes cash, and cash and plastic players cards seems to be a lot easier than the crappy app.
