UA is talking about its hubs are "uniquely placed" giving UA the ability to better focus on premium traffic. That statement is a fact. I am lost why there is a debate on that.
Whether or not UA executes on that advantage is a different issue.
I could have a hub in Timbuktu and focus on premium PRODUCT… having a hub that was projected to have growth 2 years ago doesn’t give United ANY advantage in focusing on premium product. It’s United marketing crap… this is a statement within the last week from an airline serving its premium passengers sub par food & drink… but yea, they’re uniquely positioned. Maybe because they have the most room to improve?
