Just another reason not to fly AA on a long haul flight.
On SQ flying TATL by that point I would have had a PDB of Champagne, a Singapore Sling as an aperitif, champagne with my appetizer, a couple glasses of wine with dinner, and another Singapore Sling with dessert. And at that point the crew would be actively begging to serve me another beverage but I would have to sadly pass and get to bed.
