Cheeseburgers were on the menu here tonight for a while. But we made a mid-day move to taco salad. After spending the long weekend with my wife's parents and her brother's family who all won't eat anything with even a hint of spice, it was a no-brainer. I'm looking surprisingly forward to dinner tonight.

Don't want to appear as if I didn't enjoy the food though. There's always plenty of sausages, homemade sauerkraut, good rye bread, etc., inter-mingled with all the typical American cookout foods. Just not a jar of salsa or hot sauce to be found .
