I posted in AF forum but didn't get any replies so figured I tried here. I have five nights booked in November. I was able to put two savers award seats for LAX-PPT in Business Class on hold for 64K miles+$223 each. I thought this route was basically a unicorn for savers award so was surprised the agent was able book this for me. At one point she said there were nine seats open, but when I checked Expert Flyer it said there were none. I even called another agent back to confirm it was indeed 64K miles each. Reservation is currently on hold for 72 hours (48 hours now). I've never transferred miles to Flying Blue from Amex or Chase. In your experience, is there any chance the booking agent could have been mistaken and when I try to call back to book with the transferred miles it may error out?
