I used the terminal for my first time last week. It is a bit of a long walk if you come into gate 23 to the exit but that's really no big deal. I was very impressed by how amazing the terminal looks with its high ceilings and natural light and also the availability of concessions.
The Club, now the third Admirals Club I've visited in SFO, was also great though its location makes the views right now (of International Terminal A) a little boring.

Of course once you exit you're dumped into a dingy basement area and have to head up to the Airtrain or down to baggage. That feels like the SFO I remember.
