Booked a reservation on Hertz.com but for some reason it didn't enter our Hertz number for Gold service. Called Hertz and the agent re-booked the reservation with Hertz number to get Gold service. But when the agent rebooked the reservation, we got Hertz Gold points instead of airline points.
Tried calling the airport location at published phone number, but NO ONE ever picks up the phone! Got the 800 number that said, changes to existing reservation will cost 5%. I can't make the change for the reservation online because my profile doesn't pick up the reservation because agent booked it.
Its a vicious circle. You can't get ahold of the ticket counter and you can't change your reservation online. This is horrible service all around!!!
And the irony, contrary to what the Hertz website says, they don't offer Gold service at this airport location. And we didn't get airline miles.
