While I dont expect that anyone stayed here recently, can someone comment on the location? It does not seem too far from Gion.
If you want to find comments on location, this hotel is around the corner from the Ritz-Carlton which is generally considered a good location and any opinions on it would be equally applicable, minus the fact that the RC is right on the Kamo River.
