Original Routing Credit for Oneworld Partners

Now that AS has joined Oneworld, does anyone have any experience with original routing credit when a oneworld partner rebooks you on a non partner?
Yesterday I flew DEN-LHR-AMS. The DEN-LHR was delayed and there's only one BA LHR-AMS, so we got rebooked on KL. Will AS credit miles for the original BA LHR-AMS or is it a lost segment?
AA normally does give the original routing credit for such cases. For example, on a DFW-AA-NRT-JL-SIN ticket, a delay of the AA DFW-NRT flight made it impossible to catch the JL (coded and operated) flight. The next day, only NH operated. After two calls, AA credited the miles that would have posted for the original JL flight NRT-SIN.
How does AS work on this right now?
