To paraphrase Mark Twain: "Any rumours of Rouge's death are greatly exaggerated".
It's hard to guess which routes will do what, when, when even the core mainline routes are only just getting back to their feet, but the underlying business case behind Rouge didn't just evaporate in the past 18 months.
I'm reasonably confident that we won't see the 763s return to service while there are so many mainline widebodies with nothing to do, but that's also based on my marginally-educated guess about how and when demand will return to previous widebody Rouge destinations like Bordeaux and Glasgow.
