I was ideally trying to either 1/ use a future travel voucher or 2/ use a few companion vouchers.

I've seen the Thai Airways direct option (which would be great) but if we don't end up using it, we're stuck with £400+ cancellation fees or a voucher with Thai(?) which we're less likely to use.
