That part, the number of miles earned on each fare, is clear.

What is not clear, is whether Fun fares earn status miles.

Oh wait, I just double-checked the AC website and the ambiguity has been corrected, now at the top it says:

50% status (within Canada) 100% status (between Canada and USA)

and at the bottom it says...
Aeroplan Status Miles
Accumulate 50% of miles flown for travel within Canada (min. 250 Aeroplan Miles).
Accumulate 100% of miles flown for travel between Canada and the USA, on all scheduled flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz as well as Air Canada code-share flights operated by Air Creebec, Air Georgian Limited (doing business as Air Alliance), Air Labrador, Calm Air, Central Mountain Air, and Pacific Coastal. (min. 500 Aeroplan Miles).

and you will see it is quite clear that Fun collects status miles in Canada. Only Tango fares are non-status.
