TURKISH not refunding my Refundable ticket - What can I do?
I cancelled a fully refundable fare, but after 6 months and 14 feedbacks I am still nowhere!
All I am requesting is to refund my cancelled refundable ticket, something that should be a simple procedure and refunded to my credit card.
For months I was getting responses not connected at all to my issue (like telling me about flights to Russia 2x weekly).
When finally acknowledging my right to a refund, instead of crediting the credit card, they issued some sort of voucher, which has to be exchanged by the passenger himself and only in a Turkish Airlines ticketing office. My explanation that the passenger is my underage child and there is no Turkish Airlines ticket office in my city have fallen on deaf ears.
Having no choice, I am trying for weeks now to contact the nearest ticketing office (2 hours away), the phones are never answered and after emailing them I am also getting no response.
I feel treated like dirt, they should simply refund my credit card Issuing vouchers that are impossible to exchange is a scam!
Is there a TK rep on this forum?
Any advise what I can do?
