BA is handled by Çelebi in IST and their transfer desks are open 7/24 across the main transfer security checkpoint.
No need to go landside.
Despite the transfer requirement, since January BA doesn't operate their IST route and if Turkey remains on the red list, I don't think that they'll restart the route.
