Yeah I wish this practice was explicitly banned by the airlines the way it’s banned (at least on paper) on public transit in many cities.

It’s obnoxious, especially when many airlines provide headphones in F (even if they are just crappy headphones). It’s one of many reasons I always have my Bose noise cancelling headphones in my bag and keep them firmly on for the whole trip
